200 DAYS IN ZIMBABWE

200 DAYS Elements of an ideal Zimbabwe
I left Victoria Falls looking forward to completing some challenges and though some may choose to believe otherwise i was crazy enough to put my vision against some kind of a timeline.

I planned to have made some notable achievements with 200 days.

On the 20 October 2010 according to the calendar on my phone the 200 day countdown ends. I suppose had all that has happened below not been so A.D.A.M (autonomous, defined, achievable, measurable) I would not be so eager to bring it to public attention.I have learnt this though, sometimes that which occurs around you is not necessarily due to personal effort but personal belief.

That said i would like to thank Creel Price for teaching me that a blog is simply that. A blog, by that i mean just tell it like it is.

It all started with the WHERE IS YOUR PRIDE Online Interactive Data Collection Campaign that collated a list of global users of the Lion totem and the ever decreasing number of wild Lion populations for Alert.

I then decided that i would follow this brilliant concept with some lion hearted adventure (and trust me there where some epic moments) that would put me on front line in more ways than one.

THE TONGA TRAIL CHALLENGE Sponsored Outdoor Product Launch resulted in the realisation of "the ride to rule them all" and although i didn't follow the line that I had drawn out on the map. Know this, there is really nowhere that can compare to riding a horse in Africa.

ALL the serious saddle time, horse hours and kilometres have also allowed to fine tune many of my many creative ideas.During my pre trail training as ALPHA HOST The MANE Guide and Personalised Tourist time and activity manager host. I have had the pleasure of spending some time with many inspiring people who have managed to multiply the focus of what brings 200 days to an inspired and positive end,

Givemore Chidzidzi and Tessa Chikapfonya of the ZTA
Jeremy Thal and Chris Marinetti of the youngproducersproject.
Loki Osborn of Elephant pepper
Winifred Hollington at AMC
Charlene Hewat of Environment Africa
Paulo Riding in Brazil who introduced us to Cavalerios da Cultura
The Zimba Safaris Dutch Group
The Doran Ladies, family to Patrick Doran
George of Smallworld
Prime Jets Crew, Sean, Mike and Jack
Mike McGraw the living legend of Siya Lima
Creel Price of accelerateglobal and extreme entrepreneur
Most recently the Liger force of Ant and Andie of the Liger Foundation

There are tonnes more people and that's for the book but these all these people continue just to inspire the belief that there is certainly a definite end. An ideal Zimbabwe

So at the end of 200 days the FEET PROJECT has been born and promises to be a great a very necessary development for the Mavuradona.

F.E.E.T (Field Ecovolunteering Equestrian Tourist) concept is an interactive Holiday and Skills Sharing Experience that has some very specific objectives and i will be writing my next blog on the project and what it plans to achieve.
The creation of FEET has also seen the incorporation of BOOTS. Basic OnFoot Outdoor Trail Safari Concept to the overall development and protection of the entire wilderness area from the other side of the Wilderness.

The aim in to set up a website HORSES IN AFRICA.com sometime in the near future whereby the world will be able to follow the progress that is occurring and the massive opportunity to reconnect with nature in its purest form through F.E.E.Ts' Equestrian Eco volunteering and the B.O.O.T.S exercise ecovolunteering Product

STEP 1(Sequential, Tourist, Enrolment, Placement) position was taken by Tim Fenner an interesting young man from Perth who will testify that the only way to succeed in this unique environment is one step at a time.

As strange as it may seem i believe that this particular wilderness knows who its people are its seems to me sometimes like an episode of LOST.How one can meet so many characters that are truly alive. I am starting to think that is could possibly be all the FRESH wilderness AIR.

With a historic end to 200 days of solid work all i can say is this " adventure will always exist, even if it only in our minds.I will be focusing on the mountdarwin marathon that i will taking part in thankfully and wisely i am entering in the equestrian section.

My goal is a step by step definite journey that ends with purpose.
Much can happen in 200 days, its just about taking the first STEP. The key is to take time to understand the land, and when you have done that you will understand the people.

Truth is you are either in or you are out. There's no room for luke warm.
I'm not a millionaire yet but I feel i'm most of the way there in terms of direction. I guess i can say i am on my way to my first meaningful dollar, and in life is certainly not about money. It is most certainly about how we spend it once earned.
